I have some up and down play in my seat runners.

Should I have, have never noticed it before, but was drying out the car and noticed that the drivers seat runner has some up and down play in it. the bottom piece is securely fixed to the floor , and the top bit is securely fised to the seat, but there seems to be some play in the fitting.

Is this something that I sould be worrried about?

this happened in tintop after i slept on the reclined drivers seat for a week.

take the runners off and very carefully crimp them in a vice until play goes. it wont take much...
