we had cobras and they weren't that great.

They look very similar to the Westfield ones, i.e. pretty comfy

They certainly look pretty smart!

I'm just trying to find out what they've changed, I'm not bothered about plastic ones as i'd prefer to carry a few extra kg's around for the comfort.

Bit steep pricing wise though.

I would contact Cashy on here first. As he does a good deal on Cobra Seats.

Well shaped grp seats can be as, or more, comfortable than a padded seat.
Try sitting in one before commiting.
The most comfortable are foam and bin bag seats and are lightest of all - though aesthetically not for everyone granted.

I've tried most/all the plastic ones, they are good but never great.

i can almost walk to europa from my house.

Never used them though, always tend to be the most expensive place..

I'm looking around, if its mega money for 2 seats i'll give them a miss but i'm trying to see what I can get them for.

Secondhand Caterham or Westfield seats would be my first call. I have some old caterham ones, very comfy, much better quality than cobra... Find someone upgrading to GRP/Carbon seats for a "weight loss" program...
