how do you trim down the dash to fit it to the scuttle
thanks graham

Just hold your dash blank against it, or a piece of card/wood to make a pattern, and run a pencil or scriber aroun#d the scuttle outside edge.

with plastic, id personally go with a very sharp stanley knife, just take you time, make sure the first score line is perfect, and each time you do it after it will follow that, just nice and slow til it breaks through then clean up with a small file

if you can get hold of one or borrow use - band saw works great on plasticy type stuff.. test on scrap first to see if fine or rough cut blade

2nd a sharp knife, but be veeeery careful not to slip and do it on the reverse side, I would also make it slightly over sized and use fine sand paper to finish
