Doing more bits on the dash today, going to mount the clocks but I'm not sure how to do it. What I want to do is sikaflex the clocks to the back
of the surround I have and then just bolt that through the dash.
The clocks are not particularly heavy but I'm not sure if they will stay stuck to the surround with just sikaflex? I think the fibreglass dash
will be strong enough.
This is the surround (out of MK's Midi)

Is that a billet ally surround that you've made?

Could you glue/bond some bolt heads to the back it then fix the clocks to it with plates and nuts?
Nice looking dash that.
Pu adheasive is very strong, it is slightly flexible, when first sets, then goes quite hard.
The strength of pu is rated at a few N per mm2. A 1 cm by one cm square will hold 10 - 20 KG!

ps what size is the ZX12 rev counter 80 or 100mm??
