Morning all
having a stupid moment and need a hand. The interior panels made of black plastic with a vinyl type texture on 1 side, what's it called (is it
just ABS?) and where can you get the stuff with the textured side from?
cheers, hope this brain fade wears off soon I'm having real trouble today with even the simple stuff.
how much do you need
not sure yet Tony I'm just mulling an idea over in my head and this stuff might do the job. if it did work I think I'd need a couple of
decent size sheets.
Do anyone know if it's available in different thicknesses? oh and what's it's proper name
I call it george
sorry, I'm off now......
ABS is the type of plastic (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene being a bit of a mouthful)
Never used them, but google found these people who sell mail order.

Seem to be lots of thicknesses available from 1mm up to 8mm
I think Pinseal is the 'vinyl' texture you want but be sure to check first. You can also get leathergrain and carbonfibre textures.
I found some detail pictures of pinseal and leathergrain here

ABS plastic, comes in various thickness and surface patterns.
I got mine from ebay user joanne271737 about 2 years ago.
I did find it expands and warps in the sun though.
Would it not warp on the tunnel from engine heat?
My backpanel is the CF stuff and expands and warps all over in the sun!
