is there any way of fixing a dash of this size into a 7? and if so what is the key to it?
i wanted to fit the complete unit as it fits perfectly over steering wheel and offers shade to the clocks!
would you guys attempt to fit the whole lot or just recess the clocks?

I would give that a go myself.
Things I would consider:

Make a nice finish to the current s2000 dash ( it looks uneven and untidy in the pics)

Get a current 7 dash that your happy with and know that it fits in the car.

MAke up metal brakets and glue aroldite or other them to the back of the dash.

Smooth all edges with filler untill your happy.

Use vinal paint sub box cover flocking spray to finish and hide any untidiness.

I have done quite a bit of fabrication in my time and dont see that as impossible. Just make sure you have enough space for it between the steering coloum and top of scuttle dash.

HTH

Goodluck!

I can measure how wide my chassis is? Its made from good quality GRP so can be trimmed.

thanks franky.but i will need to fit it to my mnr. i have been making moulds from wooden sheet but due to differences in depth it needs to be cut into solid then mounted to dash???
