Hi Warren,

I have diagonals in mine. They are Securon statics and I bought them from either Europa or SVC, I can't remember which. £52 the pair although that was 5 years ago.

Cant give you much advise on IVA but im pretty sure Westfield give the option of normal belts so they must be fine.

I seem to remember seeing a car at our local meets with them fitted, i think part of it was bolted to the rollbar.

Good luck and im sure there will be some more useful replies

Mine passed SVA ok, I don't see why IVA should be any different. After all they fit then to tin tops all the time.

Should be OK for IVA as long as they're labelled.
However IIRC the reason four points are recommended in our type of car is that the chassis are rigid and there are no crumple zones.
In an accident four points give much better protection by spreading the loads across more parts of the body. No doubt someone else will be able to give chapter and verse.
PITA four points may be but I know which I prefer....
Cheers, Pewe

I have a pair of 3 point static seat belts that passed SVA you can have for a modest charge.
Let me know if you are interested.

I read in one of the running reports in CKC that static belts are no good for IVA.

I have ex- Westfield 3 point inertia reel belts fitted to mine, went through SVA with no issues

During a crack-down on boy racers here in Ontario any one found with 4 and 5 point seatbelts was given a hard time, and other issues like having a Nitrous oxcide bottle in the boot resulted in hazardous chemical fines.
The problem with the seatbelts was removal of Government mandated safety equipment.

bugger just bought a set but thanks for the offer Mal.

I will see what there like when I get them.

I can always put the three points back in.

Arnt 99% of all the belts fitted to 7's static ?
