They just fit my car (I have a wide-boy chassis) so can anybody think of a good reason for me not to use these seats:

They seem pretty comfy (I've sat in them at Halfords!) and they're cheaper than the Roadster ones that a lot of people buy.
Cheers,
James
those are the ones im using, bloody comfortable but maybe a little high. Would you use runners on them?
The problem that I can see is that they don't come in vinyl - so if they get wet, the rain's just going so soak straight in and they'll
turn into a great big sponge - lovely!!

agree about the getting wet bit, nowt wrong with the fibreglass ones like mine, and dont forget my duty frees
You could maybe keep a pair of nylon overcovers behind the seats in case it really pisses it down, showers arn't too bad, so long as you keep
moving. Fiberglass seats are ok up to a hundred miles or so, but after that you start to get bruises.
The seats look ace btw. Although i like the imola ones better, and their narrower.

Okay cheers for the advice everyone!
I am tempted by the GRP ones purely for weight reasons but I can see me doing some long journeys so I want comfort and maybe a bit of warmth in the
winter!
Scothgard is a good idea- as are the seat covers. As for them wearing away- well, they'll be going back if they f#ck up too quickly!
Hmmm the Imola are nice actually! Oh, decisions decisions!
Cheers,
James
