What's the best stuff to paint a scratched fibreglass seat with, tried ordinary cheapo automotive aerosol paint and that scratches off again very quickly

Preparation is everthing, a good clean, sand down, clean, tack cloth, coat of etch primer then a couple of coats of topcoat.
Should see you OK.
