Cardboard type stuff used for door cards and under dash

Anyone know where you can buy the forementioned material. I thinking of making some panels to fit under my dash. Should stop Mr SVA from poking around under there (probably not)

thanks

We used some aluminium sheet... which fell out strange that!

I remember an item in one of the mags about a material that was 1/4 inch foam sandwiched between thin cardboard. It was light but rigid and easy to cut. I beleive it was bought from an arts and craft shop. Don't know what it was called.

ahhh, I think it's called "art board", looks like very thick home made paper if you get my drift. Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm really looking for something easy to cut and bend but fairly rigid, since it will probably "fall out" after the SVA anyway.

sounds like the art stuff is the way to go. Glue on some vinyl, attach with velcro..

thanks

You could use that plastic stuff that looks just like corrugated cardboard, like boxes and cartons are made of. I've seen estate agents signs made using it. It's certainly bendy along the corrugations, but not across.

But where do you get it?

Cheers,
Syd.

Come to think of it, a couple of estate agents sign size pieces would do the job.

google for correx

...is the corragated plastic sheet.

Try a sign maker's shop.
