Kirkey seats has anyone used them?
Are you happy with how they fell when your in the car?
What chassis do you run, how hard were they to fit?
Did you have any problems using them in a right hand drive car?
If you don't understand what I mean look at this page www.kirkeyracing.com
Thanks everyone
I'd imagine you'd seriously regret the lack of padding on one after about 20-30K on the road. Great for racing as they let you 'feel' what the car is doing but for the road a little on the hard side. I have considered using these myself but would hav to add some upholstery.
Fantastic!

excellant pic there I like the Terrapin
what model seat is it?
this isn't intened for a road car anyway, mostly super sprints and hill climbs
how wide is that seat 14 - 15 inch
thanks guys
I see padding mentioned again.
If a seat fits right padding is pretty irrelevant. The padding compresses anyway and you will still ache if the seat doesn't support the right
bits.
A correct width Kirkey seat is about the most comfortable proprietary seat that I have tried, with or without padding, ti makes little difference.
(Only padding I would suggest is necessary is on the rib protectors which are not in contact with you all the time as you need to eb able to breathe!
I's the base model at around £80 here in UK. I bought mine from Demon Tweeks.
Padded covers run at about £60 - width is around 17" if I remember correctly.
Very comfy, easy to fit as you can drill your mounting points to suit & extremely well made.
