Seat Pads

Hi everyone, looking to fit some seats pads and wish to make my own from the local camping shop or sports shop, my budget does not run to JK Upholstery...... so looking for ideas, has anyone got some images i can view and pich a few ideas, sneaky I know but dont want them to look to unprofessional so your help is much appreciated.

I made mine from camping mat. Decatlon do it with a silver surface in several thickness'. I cut it to the shapes I wanted and used self adhesive velcro to attach it. The adhesive didn't want to stick to the foam so I gave it a bit of help with some PU.

I asked her this very question and IIRC the answer was that the shapes were cut from a foam mecahnic's pad (or whatever it is called - the thing you can put on the ground when you are lying under a car) which had been split to 0.5" thick by separating the layers with an electric carving knife

I used black (=v. dark grey) camping mat off ebay - about £7 a roll I seem to remember and cut to size. On the driver's side I made a lumbar support by putting an extra thickness in the lower 1/3 of the back, behind the facing.

They are made in leather by a craftsman so not cheap vinyl, damn comfy they are too.
