JK Composite Fitting Advise

I'm looking for some advice before I start making a mess! I have a set of new JK composite seats, the baseless version, now the question is how have people found the best way to mount these. Do you side mount them or just drill through the seat and bolt it through the bottom? Any pointers would be appreciated before I start cutting into these lovely looking seats!

I would get the base! Otherwise, make some mounts and bond them/laminate them in place...

Drill and bolt the front edge to the floor (use some large/repair washers).

Then make two simple aluminium brackets and bolt the shoulders to the rear bulkhead. My JK seats came with these brackets.

I fitted these brackets to sides

rear brace
rear brace

I then put 2x pieces of Ali either side of the base lip and made some spacer to fix through the floor about 4x holes

I bolted through the front lip through the floor and i have drilled and bolted straight through the back of the chair through the rear bulkhead (but my seat is right up against it!) i'll stick a photo up for you if you want?

Cheers guys thats all fine, I have the brackets with the seat too but just wanted to get a feel for what people have found succesful as I'm short I may have to make some more sturdier things for the rear bulkhead but apart from that I'm happy to tackle it all with the dirl now!

I handn't seen that picture from JK so that helps too thanks again!

Oh, and if you are going to IVA the car, you will need to fit 100mm sq plates too.

if your going to be tracking it alloy brackets wont last half a day.
i ended up making some out of 2mm steel even then they only lasted about 6 track days. now they are still 2mm steel but the outer one is now braced to the chassis close to where it meets the seat. takes any movement out and they've never failed since.

Its already IVA'd its a change to make it more track orientated as that's why I bought the Fury so I will have to look at some plate steel then thanks!

Isn't that just a requirement for seatbelts?
