Hi. My Tiger 6 has a problem with the speedo jumping. It is the yellow speedo. Not sure if it is electrical or not. Any ideas. Cheers Rob.

If its mechanical, replace the cable looking to avoid sharp turns and hot spots near the exhaust.

If it's electronic, look for dodgy earth, dodgy feed or loose pickup.

Remove cable , pull the inner out, if no broken strands wash both the inner and outer out with WD40 and allow to drip dry overnight. Lube the inner cable with CV joint grease and working it into the wire strands, wipe the excess off before refitting.
