about to purchase a longacre rear view mirror and brackets

wheres the cheapest place to get one from and cant decide wether to go for the 14" or 17"?

eBay when I bought mine. Didn't bother with the over prices brackets and made my own.

what did you make the brackets from? noticed a few different people have mad their own brackets.
was going to buy the longacre ones to save hassle and thought they looked ok

Ally strips and a bit of foam tape to stop them sliding. I'll get some pictures if you like

Ebay for the mirror, but don't buy the brkts
they failed the iva on ours & are bloody expensive to boot
Made our own which passed fine. 14" is plenty big enough.

I went with the 14" mirror which is plenty big enough imo. I also didn't bother with the brackets and made mine own, very similar to Ben_Copeland.
