As the title says I'm looking to get a thin carpet. Not felt (sub box style).
Has anyone bought and used some examples. I'm after some real life experiences really.

I got some cheap carpet from one of the roll end places, but as soon as it got wet the backing separated from the top. It left sticky white goo
everywhere, and no usable carpet. Actually, that might be the felt type stuff you're referring to.
If I do go down the carpet route, I'll be getting some proper waterproof stuff. It's only going to be a square metre or two so won't be
breaking the bank.
I bought a roll of thin grey Carpet from a bloke in the cowshed at Stoneleigh. It looks much better than the thick woolly black stuff and was
described as being the stuff used by Volvo and is moisture resistant and looks as if it would fit into tight corners easily.
We sold the car that it was intended for so have never tested it out. I planned to use a heel mat or plate to stop wear by the pedals
thanks guys getting wet wont be an issue as its in a cabin in this case.

I used this from CBS.
Still looks good after 3000miles, even under the drivers heels.
After checking they only have it in 2X1metre rolls at the moment.

Do you have any photos of it installed?
