I'm looking at surprising the 'old man' with a proper set of Caterham style side screens with elbow pockets to replace the now shabby looking items that let his Locost down.
I want to make single piece GRP frames then cover with vinyl question is what glue do people recommend to join the two together? Is it just normal contact Evo stick or is there some thing more robust?

I have used a normal contact adhesive, but the GRP needs to be really clean, I use Acetone to clean at least twice, a sand over and another clean. Not had any come off yet

I tend to use a good carpet fitters spray glue for trims.
