Be prepared for the (un-justified) wee taking you'll get for having one.
Finding something the right diameter was the issue I had and eventually found an old school enamel mug (camping style) was good for taking both
cycling type water bottles or take-away coffee cups (and a beer bottle on one occasion - long and innocent story). Cut the handle off, edge trim
around the rim and pushed into a snug hole in my side pod. Should work in your tunnel top as long as you have enough clearance below.

I always thought that I might try one with a rotating Peltier unit in the bottom to either heat or cool your drink depending on which side the drink rests on.Peltier Link
