Hi everybody,
Does anybody have any advise regarding optimum steering column position and angles and is there any I need to any ensure regarding IVA compliance?
Thanks in Advance
Put a seat in the car, put yourself in the car and put the steering wheel where you want it. Then work forward from there. You need the 10 degrees
deflection somewhere in the column for IVA, but you're likely to find that happens naturally due to the routing having to work round
obstructions.
I work on the assumption that this isn't a production car, it won't have any adjustment, so first priority must be how it feels to the
driver.
I use a Sierra adjustable column that gives a little in/out and moderate up/down
I agree with slimy38 - and that goes for the belts as well from your other question
