I have just fitted a modified sierra pedal box, after connecting the clutch cable, the clutch pedal sits very high.
There is an auto adjuster thing but, can i do something to make the pedal sit at a sencible height or do i need a longer cable????
Pedal boxes are hardest part!

Surely there is some adjustment in the cable-stops either at pedal or bellhousing end?
If there is wind them in to loosen the cable tension, that should work.
If not it will be a matter of trimming some material of one of the stops.
With Sierra pedal boxes it is important to make sure that it is the zero adjustment position when you first install the cable and that the pedal
upstop is arranged to give a position just above what is desired. The auto adjuster should do the rest for you.
Don't know the answer, but these may help someone to find it.

Just work the pedal a few times, the ratchet adjuster should bring it down to size
even in the sierra it sits too high imo.
as far as i can see, to make the pedal sit lower, you need to extend the piece of steel that the pawl of the ratchet sits on to disengage the ratchet
and tighten the cable.
there's no other way to induce slack as the ratchet will always take it up.
if not, cut and re weld the pedal to the height you want it

Why not make a stop so the pedal can only go so far back?
cheers chaps.
I will see how it is to drive.
I think it keeps it out of the way above the break and gives me somewhere to rest my left foot.
When I did mine I cut the 'this bit' off, shortened it (width ways) and re-welded it. You could move it up a little.
