Hi all, just tried to fit into these bucket seat and failed! Looking now to remove some of the fibreglass from both side walls to allow some flexibility so I can fit?

The yellow section is what I am thinking of removing.

Can anyone think of any issues or another method?? Rescued attachment seat.jpg

Cut it down to where you want then if there is room bond something along the edge to add stiffness....or add more layers of 'glass

Other method is to buy some seats you fit into but as you have those mod them

Cheers

you could try heating them up with something giving outward pressure .
depends alot on thickness of seat and how much you need togo
not to hot though else they bubble.

Don't use direct heat...poke a stick in there to spread it out if it does owt that is...then make a box and aim a convector heater in there...leave it over night.....cheaper to cut it though
