How big is yours?
donut - 15/2/06 at 07:30 PM

I have one that's 255mm and one that's 350mm. My wife says one's too small and the other 'feels' too big!!

How big is yours?

I'm talking about steering wheel size of course!! And what make/model have you gone for?

Does Mr SVA mind those wheels?....kinda like that for our next project

As long as the metal center bit is radiused or padded it ok.

What size is it as thats the main reason for the question!!

Hellfire - 15/2/06 at 08:01 PM

320mm - Same size as the steering wheel.....

Triton: Don't know about SVA - It was fitted afterwards.

11" with the optional squashy pad for the centre. Might move up to a 12" if I find another I like.

Nice big sierra one at the min. Then a 10inch 3 spoke mountney jobby. Unless i find that too small to handle then ill go 12inch. (im not used to handling small things)

I think Westfields are either 11" or 12", anyone know?

240mm Racetech for me - but wife likes to hold it as it's detachable.

I think 12" is about proportianly right for a 7.

Ditto - sometimes after a run the 11" wheel feels a bit small and I have aching forearms

I'm glad you put the word 'wheel' in there cos without it i would have wet myself laughing!

I fitted a 13" SWM wheel and collapsible boss for SVA. Got thro' no probs. Wheel has no holes or slots in the spokes (SVA said they would fail it if it did) and the external rad on spokes is over 2.5mm.
I did have the Sierra wheel on at first but failed on height, it was the SVA man who said what i could use instead in terms of smaller wheel.

The wheel is a good size for the car. I dont like the very small wheels. After SVA i fitted a snap off kit - highly recommended. No slogger like you can get with the £50 hex style removable kits.
