Anybody know a cheap place to buy decent size sheets of black anodised aluminium sheet from please?

A quick search on Google found a place selling 290mm by 290mm for less than £6 but this is too small.

What thickness are you after and overall size?

A few sheets of roughly a meter squared...

what about anodising it yourself? Frosts sell the kits; you just need to figure out how to makethe bath!

would it not be easier to have them powder coated in colour of your choice

And powder coating will last longer, but if you are going to powder coat then might as well 2k it. I cant find anyone who does cheaper than ebay at moment.
