If it's a true Digi-Dash, what's that strange accessory on the right of the dashboard - a "key switch" perchance?

It's a binary amplification switch, producing 0's it's in quiet mode, 1's and it's all noisy.

Okay, Chockymonster, good answer; but apart from the fact that digits hold the key, where is the "digital" input.

Bloody nice design, all the same.
