MK?

Tangerine Scream - 2/9/06 at 10:36 PM

Most commonly MK, Triton and GTS.

My best bet would be GTS.....

or MK......

or Triton

nitram38 - 2/9/06 at 10:45 PM

Well that's clear then

stevec - 2/9/06 at 10:51 PM

I dont think Triton cos mine are Triton and there not like that,

locoboy - 2/9/06 at 10:55 PM

My Guess would be MK...........

based on the 'kink' on the section where the runner would mount between the front and back captive mounts on the right hand side (seat in normal use position) in your second piccy.

*cough* ebay *cough*

Didn't like the way he was selling one, and then offering the other to the buyer. Unless you only wanted one he'd be in the better negotiating position.

That and I doubt my fat arse would fit

I notice triton has a pair of his on ebay at the moment, along with some dashes.

Tangerine Scream - 2/9/06 at 10:56 PM

There's always the carbon fibre ones from MOG, although the price is a little eye watering!!
MK do a version with the top piece trimmed with carbon, which looks good.
Don't think there's much to choose between any of them really...

Has the upgraditus started already?

nitram38 - 2/9/06 at 11:05 PM

What I liked about them was the second skin reinforcing and the matting looked more like a composite, rather than just fibreglass. They look good quality.
I have tried all of the usual suspects website's, but none look the same or have the second skin.
The ebayer says they cost £280 for the pair. I have asked the question, but not recieved a reply yet.
I am looking for a pair for my next project.

when the auction has finished i will offer the other seat price depending on what the other makes could be more could be less . i did it this way in case i got stung .there will be more seats for sale soon and maybe with a b.i.n price thanks .steve colan, belvoir grp

So if you want a pair, the price is basically up to him

iank - 3/9/06 at 12:30 AM

Has he not heard of a reserve to avoid getting 'stung'.

Sounds to me like the buyer is more likely to get stung.

I bought two seats from MK at a show and they were £90 each plain, £100 each with the kevlar top insert. That was about a year previous. Look exactly like the picture at the top.

ned - 3/9/06 at 07:54 AM

definately identical to my mk ones, about £100 each when i bought min. cheaper to buy them direct i'd say, or bettter at a show...

Ned.

Danozeman - 3/9/06 at 08:43 AM

according to the thread the other day about seats. Thedy are MK ones.

Hellfire - 3/9/06 at 10:56 AM

They are MK seats... identical to ours with top insert in carbon fibre... available in different colour combinations.

Steve

Gav - 3/9/06 at 11:34 AM

They look identical to my GTS ones.

Mark, mine dont have GTS moulded into them however they do have a GTS sticker on them.

Gav - 3/9/06 at 08:26 PM

Perhaps, mine are only about a month old, one got trashed by business post and darren said a new one wil be with me this week, hope its not a new plug as the seats will be different then

nitram38 - 3/9/06 at 08:42 PM

The seat went for £122.
Wonder what the other one costs!!!!!

StevieB - 3/9/06 at 09:19 PM

I'd say they're MK seats, and if you want some, you can get them new for about the same money from MK. Rescued attachment Seats.jpg
