oh, look what you've done with the grill...

very smart, I looked at the MK one last night and decided not to fit it for the SVA cos its so sharp, but I could do it like yours, cool.

have to say though your worse than me at putting pictures on the site! ahh given up on the super closeup he he

It is only 9:10 am i dont wake up untill at least 12!

Yeah real simple mesh covering and some trim edging like you use on the front huggers to cover the cut edge. I'll look for a closer pic later and try and attach it!!!

Also a good idea to stop larger objects flying into the radiator.

yeah, it does look good, better than just the MK grill by itself.

I was going to form the mesh last night over some plywood but then I remembered I’d broken the jig saw, permanently...

mike smith1 - 4/1/07 at 09:19 AM

Just marked around the grill on to some cardboard and cut the mesh out with some tin snips, best clean cut i found.

Little bit fiddly getting the rubber trim on the edge because it is quite flimsy but once on i think it looks good.

I was wanting to form the mesh round the wood to give it a lip to rivet or screw to the nose cone.

But I'll have a look at what your suggesting, cheers.

I stuck my cheque in the post today for a pair, i'll pop up some pics when i've got them if no one else has by then.

Good old tie raps, the grill is that good a fit in my nose cone it would of been impossible to form the mesh around it, however i'm sure there will be some difference in each nose cone.
