probably stupid question but is it legal to use i good push bike speedo in a car instead of a proper car/motorbike one as in will it pass sva if set up right

It needs to be lit properly so it can be read at night. That means without pressing a button.

is there any recomendations ive seen i sigma one you can get a light for it but dont know if it lights with the rest of the lights probably will be

I bought a sigma targa to fit to my car, I made a little light that was wired to the sidelights using a sidelight bulb holder in a piece of aluminium tube.I lit up the speedo a treat. took it all off and fitted a acewll one now.

sounds good what about powering the unit can i be done via the car battery as dread the thought of having to change batteries in the unit

The batterys last for ages and the unit justs unclips from its base, Want one cheap?
