me and greggors would like to fit one of these to our indy were making, we have only seen them for sale for £80 ! in one of the kit car mags... surely another place sells them or we can get them inported from america ? searching on the net has not been successful so far... we just wanna have that great sound when you change gear in a ferriari the clunking
You could try getting one cut by a company who have laser cutting machines, this is what I am thinking of for that time in the future when I have a
car built.
The place local to me who do this is Quality Components, tel 01977 618160. They can cut up to about 10mm aluminium and up to 25mm steel. Not sure how
you figure what size and length to make the slots however.
U2U Merlin, he does laser cutting.

yeah i will use that method of the cardboard to get the dimensions then put this into a cad package also there is a quick shift method too which makes
shifting faster which i could employ as seen on this web site...

I looked at this Ferrari-style gearshift gate thingy a while back and concluded it isn't worth the hassle. Plus, if you have a quickshift there isn't really enough cross-gate travel to allow for a decent thickness of metal for that gates' 'fingers'. They do look nice but who looks at their gearstick whilst driving? The final thing for me was thinking of how much cack & spare change is going to drop into the holes and possibly jam up the stick?
