Mine is polished ally and its a bit blinding when the sun is low - but at least the missus doesn't keep turning the rear view mirror to check shes still there - or whatever it is they like to check on

How did you fit the dash? Bonded it? Welded it? Looks like you built the skuttle frame (Double Hops) and built your dash into it...Very clean and neat.

Only sad part is seeing the open tube end in the skuttle frame.

I see the bolt holes now...Nice....

Nice mate! Looks good enough to shoot down meschersmits.

Looks similiar to mine, I made my dash when the large SVA steering wheel was fitted and now find that the smaller wheel obscures the instruments a bit. I was planning on making another with them situated in the centre rather than behind the wheel but havent got around to it yet.

Scuttle is ally wrapped over steel, the dash is "brushed" with course scotchbrite though it may get a viny covering depending if I have enough material left after the seats. Old Skool as it is same layout as early Cateringvan

I am mgoing to make some triangle fillets as per Lotus 7 and cateringvan to hide the tube ends and, if I can find them ( the lockup is a bit of a mess ATM!) I have stainless countersunk screws and cups to hold it in. I am not sure if I will have to pat the scuttle edge for SVA the rules are not very clear apart from the 19mm radius on the BOTTOM of the dash panel.

I am still working on the handbrake, you can see the genuine Lotus umbrella handle below and right of the steering wheel, then its wiring time

Hoping to be on the road this summer. I have got to fit the engine and see if it can be made to work I have 2 so I am hoping I can get enough working bits to make a decent runner!
