Anyone gone for a smaller radius and a padded lower edge on a solid dash as opposed to the 19 mm radius or the fully padded option?

If so how did you do it?

I'd like to keep my dash raw ali and have a padded half round or similar at the lower edge but a bit short on room for the full 19mm dia

I thought it was 19mm radius not diameter. But then I could be wrong.

But if the edge can't be felt then it can be less, I think.

I did but ewith a covered plywood dash. Woolies do a thick U shape so I thinned the lower part of the dash and glued this on and pulled the vinyl over it.
