im cutting out my templates now,what is the best way of fixing this sheet to the chassis.i was thinking about riveting but it may split the plastic or just use self tappers with some kind of cup washer ?

any pics woud also be usefull

have riveted mine, and it seems to have worked ok
mines 4 mm thick, and i used alloy rivets

I've used rivets on the the thinner 2.5mm sheet and it didn't split. Though thinking about it the sheet was deformed slightly by the pressure point. So I would suggest using grp body rivets which have a very large flat head, neater than a washer anyway.
