mkblade - 12/5/07 at 06:43 PM

ive now cut all the interior panels out but cant decide what to use fixing wise.

as its black panels maybe balck rivets but would i need a larger head as i dont want to split the plastic.

other idea is a sort of conter sunk washer
taht i could fit to to the panel then just use a self tapper through the middle.

any suggestions would be great and pics would be good to

thanks for your help simon

M4 dome head stainless setscrews with nylocks would look nice

depends wether you want to be able to get them off ror maintainance black rivets or black ally dome heads and rivnuts

How about spat screws they are selftapping screws that look like they have a washer behind the head

rivnuts with with either small or large dome head bolts as used on motorcycle fairings?

I'd go with rivnuts and some stainless/ally domed screws. Rather than use nylocks I'd probably just use thread lock if you wanted them secure but removable.
