I used one from lolocost(robin hood) and mounted it on top.
Works fine with my KOSO dash
Only prob i had was the fiber washer on the terminal leaked so seal it all well on instalation!
Think it was £20?

ive got vauxall caibra clocks and a cavy
sender but its the twist and turn type
and i want a bolt in model , so i was canvassing opinions on what people had used , in the hope there was a universal one available

Measure the Vauxhall unit range and find a bolt in one to match?

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a universal sender. They work by varying a resistance as the float moves.
While different manufacturers use different resistance ranges (and some increase resistance as fuel is used, while others decrease)

You need one to match the calibra clock, if you can't use a vauxhall one that matches you need to measure the working sender to find out what range you need.

These http://www.tek-group.co.uk/acatalog/Fuel_Senders_.html are quite nice in that it doesn't need a swing so you can put baffles where you want without caring. Not cheap though.
