Greetings!
I'm about to buy a 2nd hand locost and I already need to modify it! The reason is I'm very short and I couldn't possibly drive it as is
now (no I'm not joking, and yes, it's kind of embarrasing).
Obviously, the two things I can do is move the seat forward or move the pedals backwards. The former looks probably easier to me (although I'm
thinking I would probably need some spacer to put it in the back so I don't stress the bottom fixings too much), but I think it wouldn't
look very nice at all.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
Also, I don't have a welder or the skills, so if you think it would be easy to move the pedals forward and would be interested in doing it,
I'm definitely interested in hearing about you if you are close to the Surrey area.
Thanks!
Alex
moving the seat id definatley the easiest thing, why not pop down to newlands corner first sunday of the month at 10 if its not raining we will be there in our charriots
Thanks for your msg. I'll definitely be at newlands corner so you can all have a big laugh with me sitting with a big cardboard box in my back so
I can drive my car!!!
Cheers,
Alex

Hey Kid, I'm not sure what you mean with the suspense? Are you still talking about the food I'll be putting in my "spacer box" or
now it's about the car I'm buying??

Hey Ned, how you doing!!
Next sunday!! I hope I can make it. If I finally pick it up on Sat I may be there (if my cardboard box is comfortable enough).
Kid, I'm buying Jon Ison's "Isonblade" 'cause he has decided to put some more money into his new project (that MK looking
really mad!).
Will you be there on Sun, then?
Cheers,
Alex
In other (Jon's) words, I'm buying "the car that has a healthy appetite for showing its rear to the £50k supercar drivers" I
just hope I'll learn to drive it properly!!!
Cheers,
Alex
