matt.c - 10/11/07 at 06:01 PM

Been paneling the tunnel today but i need to SVA prof the edges of the tunnel. I really like the rough look of the tunnel as it's just want i wanted but SVA man will blow his top! Dont want to cover with ugly cloth trim so what choices have i got? Need to make it so i can take it off after sva.

how many rivets did you use to fix all your panels?

I used anodised step edging strip from B&Q - Mr SVA loved it.

Davey D, belive it or not that's about the "correct" spacing to stop fretting you need the rivets spaced at about 10 rivet stem diameters... Most don't bother, as you can get away with less...

I like the hockey idea,

but you could remake the top piece 40mm wider and fold down a 20mm edge each side.
I assume it needs to be removable to maintain hand brake so fix with 4mm button head screws to match the rivets.

You obviously like drilling.

Nice job btw

Don't know what the answer is but I thought I would just say thats a brilliant job you have made on those panels.

Just nip to your local ally extrusion place.

Where did you get the hockey sticks from? Do they come in alloy colour?
