morning all, before i drill any holes, im wondering if these would be alright to put on the dash;



radiused edges?

my friend tells me that the sva is quite strict on contacting edges. The rocker switch would stick all the way out and the silver button i'd use for a horn has a sharp inner rim before you get to the button.

Any thoughts?

If you are worried, could you put them in the "exempt area" defined by the SVA manual (within an area 127mm outside the rim of the steering wheel)? If you use a Sierra wheel for SVA, then replace with a smaller one afterwards, then quite a large area could be available to you without worrying about the switches

I've used the same switch and lamps on my dash with no probs at SVA. The lamps are in the middle of the dash and the switch (fog light) is behined the wheel (but still in view).

No. They're much too big to fit on a 7 dash.

i'll put them in the wash and hopefully they'll shrink!
