new book diy aluminium seats

hi in the chris gibbs book theres a section about making your own seats from steel or alloy. has anyone had a go at making them. got any pics. these could be very light if made from aluminium.

I made a seat for my car out of ali, did it fairly crudely & then covered with the waterproof bedroll mat about 3/8" thick. Weighs virtually nothing & didn't cost much more either - surprisingly comfortable.
There's a pic in my archive b4 I stuck the mat on.

Can't honestly remember, bearing in mind I had no plans & was working from scratch probably about a day let's see £20 an hour, 8 hours, mmmmm. wasn't so cheap after all!
