HI,

Q: My nose off the sierra differential wil be mounted in a triangulation at the rear of the tunnel.

This triangulation will also contain the anchorage nut for the seat-belt.

What thickness would you use?
4 mm? or could 3 mm be sufficient?

thnx

it depends on how the forces will be acting on the sheet.

if its sideways you will need thicker sheet then if its lenght wise..

if it isn't much sheet i would use 4mm.

also its different if the forces are pushing on the sheet or pulling.

pulling=thinner
pushing = thicker

As it will be the lower behind the seat the forces will be in lenght, so in the triangulation and not sideways

I will use 4 mm for safety. I don't want safety-belts which can't do their job.

Thx
