Anybody tried one of these for CEC use?

In my 200sx i had the Apexi AVCR (boost controller) and SAFC2 ( fuel/airflow controller) which look nigh on the same with the VFG display. They are very nice bits of kit, only problem i can see is using them in an open top kitcar is being able to read it from glare of the sun, and i dont know how well they would stand up to being caught out in the rain

Those are definite considerations. I have since heard that they are from a good company, but practicality may rule here... thanks for the answer!!
