Triton seats arrived today
James - 20/6/08 at 08:50 PM

The seats arrived from Mark (Triton) today.

They look really great!!!

Nice rounded edges all round so I don't think any of the 'U' shape edging will be necessary.

Went for 5 holes in case I decide to change my belts for 5-point but currently the 5th hole will be there just to let water out!

Really pleased!!!

cheers,
James

Sadly I don't have as much 'natural' padding as some on here and will have to investigate some foam pads for them.

Thinking camping bedroll type stuff like some people have used.
Does it last ok?
My camping mats seem to get knackered pretty quick.

Was thinking of velcroing the bedroll on so it can be replaced easily.

Cheers,
James

Yoga mat. Costs next to nothing if bought at the right place...

I used a work-shop lying down mat..... on my Triton Wide-Boys to make these

Cheers Foz.

That's the kind of thing I meant.

Is that workshop mat you've used basically the same as camping roll type stuff? ie. foam. Looks it.

Has it lasted ok? Just wondering about durability as camping roll seems to get scratches/marks relatively easily!

Cheers,
James

James,

Yes it does mark fairly easily......

Its a Snap-On laying down mat......but I should imagine not that much different from a good quality camping mat......

The good thing about camping mats is that they are cheap, so therefore easily replaceable without spending too much...

Although I can't vouch for the camping mats comfiness..... as I can the laying down mat!

James

Does this mean you will be ready for uxbridge autoshow on the 20th july ?

also ned can finish his car now

James - 25/6/08 at 05:07 PM

Ned's had his seats back for about a year to 18mths now... so not guilty!
I *think* I'm only guilty of still having his Dremel.... so maybe it's that which is holding him back!

Sadly, although the car may be back together for Uxbridge, I won't be there.

Already got a clash between the show and the British Savate Kickboxing Championships. In addition, if I pass the audition on Sat' then I've also got to be at the ITF Tae Kwon-Do National team championships.

All in all a bad day for clashes!

Cheers,
James

Has Ned still not finished that car

It had better be mighty fine when it's done.

He's too kind... he keeps lending bits of it to people!

Atleast it gets lighter every week!
