Decided I defo want to move to a smaller wheel asap.

Have a normal Sierra rack on my Indy. Would a 270mm be to hard to use? really fancy the MOMO type 27

i have a momo think its 280, everyone says that 280 is too small. and tbh they are right. i think a 300 would be best comprimise. my momo 280 sure does look good though.

been measuring and messing about and think i am going to settle on a 290mm gaining 40mm of room

how easy is a quick rack to instal and remove old item? any links at all guys?

A quickrack (if made for you to the same size as your existing one will take you between 20mins and and hour to do depending on your competency.

It is a very simple job to do mate, and if you need any pointers just before it (like advice or to check you've got the correct tools) then a simple post on here will sort that out.

Any links to places that sell? I take it, its just the rack set (box with reworked gearing) and NO column, steering rods etc

bah this is driving me mad trying to find a wheel.

settled on the Sparco 285 SN. Its an undrilled wheel so perfect i thought for my application.

then rung demon tweeks to buy it who said that my 6 hole boss would be too big?

surely the wheel would overlap three of the holes on the boss though? I know it would mean the boss is slightyl expossed, but what else can i do to get a smaller wheel. the quick release kit is 3 holes mounting to a spacer which has 6 holes which mount to the wheel. no one makes a spacer which is thee holes and then three holes.

spose i would space with a bunch of washers?

opinions?
