No chance!

mookaloid - 27/9/05 at 06:35 PM

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

JoelP - 27/9/05 at 06:41 PM

funny how they think a £200 pound rover turbo engine adds 7k to the value! On the plus side, it is brand spanker at least

iank - 27/9/05 at 06:42 PM

I'd hope that was a typo and starting bid was intended as £1200.

Either that or it needs a diamond encrusted steering wheel which doesn't seem to be mentioned

surely diamonds in steering wheel would fail sva

Must be since the kit prices have gone up with the new regime!

I'd still rather buy two nice MKs with the money though!

Cheers,
James

They obviously have a sense of humour - it is alleged you need one with one of those (sorry to all watching who have ro**n h**d)

...but 12k?...planet Zog or what?

skydivepaul - 27/9/05 at 07:55 PM

I love the guys optimism hahahahahahaha

john_p_b - 27/9/05 at 08:58 PM

best laugh is they would have probably spent 17k on that knew a few months ago! i'm pretty sure thats what they were charging a turbo model OTR.

andybod - 27/9/05 at 09:43 PM

robbing hood are listing this at £10,000 plus vat on there web site somebody daft enough to pay that kind of price in the first place think i,ll stick to what i have ta

Danielc - 6/10/05 at 08:37 AM

They have dropped the price to £10,000 now and relisted it, still optiomistic i think

G.Man - 6/10/05 at 09:47 AM

The guy selling it has only just finished it and is being forced to sell it due to his health not allowing him to drive anymore...

The car was about £12000 as a kit and he has spent 150+ hours on it, someone who wants a turbo super spec without the agro may go for it, but I doubt it somehow...

not with cossie powered westfields for the same/less money!

kevano - 6/10/05 at 12:02 PM

what a case, i think i'll stick with my faster lighter mk thanks!!!

rayward - 6/10/05 at 01:33 PM

He's relisted it with a 10k starting bid, check the RH website, cars for sale area, they got one with a jag V12 engine in it

want 9k though
