Cool windscreen idea
Mr Whippy - 27/2/08 at 03:28 PM

I was dreaming again and had a cool idea for my beach buggys windscreen, how about using two sheets of glass, laminated off course but with a gap in between like double glazing. Now here’s the cool bit, the gap gets filled up with liquid like those things you tip from side to side to see the denser coloured liquid slowly slosh around oh how cool is that!

I could then add some plastic fishes

What?

No I haven’t been taking drugs!!

I thought for a minute you were going to ciculate some warm water though the gap as a demisting solution. But no, just maddddddddahahhdhhddd!

you could add a little surfer dude that could ride the waves that slosh across the screen...

And then add a Hoola Hoola (sp?) girl with grass skirt that if you roll/tip over she strips off like one of the novelty pens!!!!

Fill it full of beer

you need two liquids are are immiscible, easily done but I think the problem may be that due to the vibrations when driving, they may get broken into tiny droplets to cause an emulasion that would prevent you from seeing rough the screen.

You may be bettoer off fitting a heating element in the base and using coloured wax, much like lava lamps.

I really like the lava lamp idea, certainly would go with a 70's buggy

normal is boring

It would certainly go nicely with the tie-dye seat covers

I though he already was
Good idea but mr SVA or mr MOT might not approve. You would certainly get some good looks out on the road though

You could do it to your house if you lived in Market Rasen,
