AL Coolant system tube
Dick Axtell - 18/8/15 at 09:26 AM

Greetings al LCB-ers. Having gone slightly crazy after searching for anyone who does suitably swaged ally tubes for the Zetec cooling system, am reduced to asking here for supplier info.

Spotted KitSpares product list - "out of stock"! Who else provides such items?

The bottom end radiator / water pump pipes were from tiger on my car, they also supply pipes for rail at the top but i decided 32mm and 19mm ali pipe was readilly available and i managed to find a local engineer to turn the ends on a lathe so the jubilee clips take hold.

Dick .... have a look in my photo archive, should be lots of pictures regarding water works.

This was from Tiger, i cut it in half for pipe direction and had the ends turned on a lathe.

B&Q aerial poles are cheap with bends, then drill a hole an add a nut to some old plier jaws to make a swageing tool.

Ash Hoses do to, look around for the discount code before you order though.

Viper Performance and Merlin Motorsport are two suppliers I have used for this before.

Also used B&Q but copper plumbing 28mm pipe and half a solder joiner makes a good barb for holding a 32mm coolant hose. And you can get a 28x28x15 Tee for that bypass hose join.
