Digital dashboard

Been looking on ebay for digital dashes like the uno turbo and astra gte. Anyone fitted one and is it (technically) any different to fitting a standard one?

Fitted an astra GTE digital dash to a Nova a few years ago, it was a lot of hassle to get all working. I got a conversion wiring diagram from the net, i looked and i dont have it saved, it's a pretty commom Nova conversion ,so if you look on a Nova / Vauxhall forum you may get more help. Only prob I had was getting the fuel gauge to work correctly, had to Astra one and modify it in the end.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

The main problem is the dash will want to see the Gm sensors.

Next problem is the speed sensor is conected to the gearbox. You will not be able to alter the pulse ratio to allow for your gearing and wheel size.

Ive had a play with one and its not hard to wire up. But a differant matter to get it to read what its meant to.
