Rubber /antislip finish for seat

I'm making a seat from expanding foam, then covering it a thin layer of fibreglass tissue (for strength and waterproofing), but what to paint it in something rather than the usual covering in black gaffer tape. Any ideas on a paint i could use that has a rubbery finish and/or non slip??

tissue is not strong enough to stand on unless its like 5 layers thick. I use it for model planes and boats over blue foam cores. You would be best to use a woven cloth for this.

Its not really for that much strength, its just to stop the water ingress and bits snapping off.

Use a thin sheet of self-adhesive neoprene. Just so happens I have some from my build (bought a bulk lot) size is 274 x 340 x 4mm. Works well.
U2U me if interested.

Yup. I'd use self-adhesive neoprene.

If you were sure you wanted to use a paint on product you could use something like this stuff
