Dash clock options

The time is almost upon me to choose my dashboard decorations. My friend has got standard type clocks on his Westie with an array of Savage illuminated switches, which I like the look of. But I'm doing something different.

I'm using BMW Mini dash switches (housing at least) for bits n pieces, which will all be labelled for IVA. The question is, do I go with clocks or a digital dash?

I was looking at this item on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260403831354

Wondered what everyones thoughts were? I know I can get a full set of dials from a company advertising in the back of Complete Kit Car magazine for £200 plus P&P, same price as the digidash. Admittedly they are made by Racetech, which I hear mixed reports about.

Thoughts please, people? Remember, it's supposed to be a locost solution, but I don't want cheap and tacky!

Hi Charlie, thats the same digital display I'm thinking of fitting, it has all the warning lights on it I think you need - apart from the brake warning light (!).

I am looking at the same dash solution for my build. If you look on Utube you will see vids of them in action. I think they look awesome.

I want this version of the RX-2 though (VIDEO OF IT IN ACTION HERE!!!)

My preference is individual dials, but each to their own.

You might find this excellent dashboard thread useful for ideas and you might want to add a photo of your dash when finished...

I used these Koso gauges on my Mojo build. One of them does speedo, odo, trip and fuel and the other one does clock, 2 x temo gauge and rpm. Total cost £150 from eBay including speed sensor. Very small, very easy to install, and look great (IMHO).
