Rear boot

Hi all

I was planing on fitting a boot section in the back of my locost.
The only concern i have is that it will cover the underside of my seat mounts.
Do you think it will be a problem on i.v.a as i am planing on moulding it around my fuel tank etc and cant do it once build is compleate.

Many thanks

Take lots of photos around the area that you'll be covering with the boot and present them to the tester at IVA. Should hopefully keep him/her happy.

Don't forget that the inspector will have the car up on a platform and will be able to see quite a bit from underneath.

But photos are a good backup...

Just to throw a spanner in the works maybe. When I took mine for SVA at Manchester I was asked to fully unscrew and remove my boot cover until I pointed out the big lockable access panel on top.
I suspect it will differ from station to station.
