Fiat Barchetta instruments: possible??
While browsing E-bay, I came across a picture of the interior of a Fiat Barchetta. I definately like the instruments, all grouped around the steering
column, with the warninglights fully integrated. Could I use these in my Indy somehow?!?!?
What kind of trouble could I expect?
Oh, the link for the picture is:

At a guess, the main issue would be speedo calibration. Otherwise, so long as you can connect everything up correctly i can't see any reason why
not.
Need to look for a set myself - I like them!

Seeing the instruments through the steering wheel would be the only problem I could think of. It would be an easy look to copy using round dials. The
speedo must be the only one you have to be able to see easily so it would be obvious to place it first.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Seeing them thru the steeringwheel might not be such an issue. By the looks of it, they are very closely grouped around the actual column, so as long
as I'm not going to use a 10" steeringwheel, it might work.
My concern is more hooking them up to the rest of the car, so they work properly.

Yep, they're KPH, but since I live in Holland, that's good! However, I do believe the SVA (which I have to go through) requires MPH, but
maybe an added bicycle-computer would be sufficient? It might fall off during the trip back to Holland though.....

Pretty sure the barchettas sold in the UK will have mph speedos - especially if it is a legal requirement. Definitely all lhd though.
I noticed the local fiat dealer had one outside the other day so will go and have a look tomorrow if I get chance.

Went to look today - the Barchetta I saw certainly had mph speedo. Nice motor.
