Seat Upholstery
Hi everone,
I am trying to upholster my seats.
I cut it from 2mm sheet metal, bend it from right and left side,
I used seat foam and adhesive to make it.
But how can I uphoster with cloth.
Did anyone build his/her own seat ??? Can anyone give detail??

Hi
I made all the interior for my car, with no prior knowledge of anything like it
your best bet is the library, and souce books on car restoration/interior etc,
thats how i learnt my (skills!) pics in my archive
And borrow Mums sewing machine, that really was not up to sewing 4 layers of vinyl, let alone leather
so i bought my own a nice 1913 singer shuttle !!
regards
steve

Where can you get seat foam ? I need to stuff a couple of headrests which failed IVA as they were not resistant enough.
I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

I FOUND SEAT FOAM FROM CAR CEMETERY. )
IN OUR COUNTRY SOME COMPANIES ARE PRODUCING AND SELLING NEW FOAMS.
BUT IT IS 50 USD/SEAT. ALSO YOU NEED TO RESHAPE ACCORDING TO YOU SEAT.
